Money & Medicare Guide

About this site

Money & Medicare Guide is an independent information website for Americans who are 50 and older. We write about Social Security, Medicare, retirement taxes, insurance and everyday money questions in plain English.

What we do

Government rules change every year: the Social Security cost-of-living adjustment, Medicare premiums and deductibles, IRS contribution limits. We track those changes, explain what they mean for a typical household, and link to the official source so you can check every number yourself.

What we are not

We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare.gov or the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We do not sell insurance, annuities, loans or financial products, and we do not give individual financial, tax, legal or medical advice. For decisions about your own situation, contact the agency directly or talk to a licensed professional.

How the site is funded

The site is free to read. It is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not influence what we write, and we do not accept payment for coverage. Ads are labeled as such and are chosen by Google, not by our editors.

Who runs it

Money & Medicare Guide is published by Ghali Web, a web publishing company based in Germany. Full legal details are on the imprint page. You can reach the editorial team at info@ghaliweb.de.
